Dear Moody Family,
Your prayerful support and adherence to our COVID-19 guidelines throughout the fall semester has been greatly appreciated. The Lord has been gracious to us at Moody Bible Institute! Through your efforts, we have been able to preserve as much as possible the unique richness of the Moody experience for our student body and the sense of community we all love.
I am thrilled to announce that we will continue to keep our campus open for the spring 2021 semester. It will feel similar to the fall semester, in that we will operate under much of the same guidelines and protocols that are currently in place. Through our HyFlex model, students will be able to attend classes in person, online, or a combination of both to fit their needs and/or preference. This learning model will allow us to continue to deliver classroom teaching this spring, even if a resurgence of COVID-19 becomes a challenge for colleges.
A Summary of Plans for This Spring
Please understand that in addition to providing the rich educational experience that is distinctively unique amongst Bible colleges, the health, safety, and wellbeing of our campus community is paramount. We will continue to implement best practices from the CDC and other health agencies.
While this announcement contains our overall approach to the spring semester, leadership from each campus will communicate with students about other key details (e.g. student life, housing, chapel, food service, and other areas). In the meantime, please visit our constantly updated spring semester web page on www.moody.edu for more information.
Join me in praying for our students as we train and equip them to serve the Lord.
Humbly,
Dr. Dwight Perry
Provost
