Moody Radio Launches New Special Feature

Starting this month, the new special feature That’s Real with Hannah Lynn will be heard across all Moody Radio owned and operated stations as well as select affiliates.

That’s Real with Hannah Lynn is a one-minute special feature, giving a dose of biblical encouragement and advice to young believers who want to love and live God’s Word.

“Hannah’s gift of storytelling along with her ability to provide insight on God’s Word that ministers to younger believers is a wonderful addition to Moody Radio’s lineup,” said Dan Craig, director of programming for Moody Radio. “It’s an exciting season at Moody Radio as we seek to not only reach our faithful, long-time listeners but a wave of younger listeners that are tuning in and we trust the Lord will use That’s Real with Hannah Lynn in incredible ways. Hannah’s ability to bridge the generational gap is both encouraging and refreshing.”

Hannah Lynn, who serves full-time as the engineer for Moody Radio Chicago’s Karl and Crew Mornings grew up as a homeschooler on a tree farm, plays the harp, and started a fashion blog while a student at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. She graduated from Moody with a bachelors in counseling and is currently pursuing her master’s degree at Moody Theological Seminary.

As a seven-year-old she witnessed to her ballet teacher, then she started a Young Life Club while in high school. Now she mentors teens with her husband, John, who serves as a youth pastor at a church in Chicago.

“I have felt alone in my faith many times as a twenty-something-year-old,” said host Hannah Lynn. “I really want Christians to feel encouraged that they are not alone. It can get discouraging and confusing when social media, our favorite TV shows and even friends, are telling us something that is opposite than what Jesus would want for us.” She added, “When Jesus is Lord of our lives we have the privilege to change the next generation for the better. I really believe that He has come to give us life and life to the fullest. I hope that through That's Real believers feel like they have a friend sitting next to them in the car as they drive to the next destination in their faith journey.”
