Biographical Files

The Archives contain about 1,600 biographical files and 1,200 photograph files of people who had some connection to D. L. Moody or Moody Bible Institute.

D. L. Moody and R. A. Torrey have the most substantial collections. The Moody file comprises nearly 150 different photographs whereas Torrey has about 40.

Most of the people represented by these files have been entered into the library's Online Catalog and can be found through author (Moody, Dwight Lyman, 1837-1899), keyword phrase (“D. L. Moody”), and subject (Moody, Dwight Lyman, 1837-1899) searches.
