Library Policy for People with Disabilities
The Moody Library ensures that individuals with disabilities have equal access to library resources.
Accommodations for users with disabilities will be based on the individual's needs. For the services listed below, students must have identified themselves to the Student Resource Center in the Student Development Office as needing accommodations due to a permanent or temporary disability. Once the student has registered with the Student Resource Center and this office contacts the Crowell Library, a staff member from the library will work with the student to determine which services fit best.
Appointments for the services listed below are encouraged, but not necessary. Every effort will be made to accommodate these requests.
Research Assistance
Users are encouraged to come to each Library for assistance in developing research strategy, locating relevant books and journals and evaluating research materials. Librarians are available by appointment as well as at the Information Desk during weekday business hours. Appointments should be scheduled in advance.
